Are you still trying to decide if Camp Jewell YMCA is right for your child? Is this your child’s first overnight experience at a summer camp? To ease any concerns that you or your child might have, Camp Jewell YMCA hosts open houses at camp four times during the year. At our open house you can ask staff questions, tour the facility, view the summer menu, and watch a slide show presentation. A few activity areas are also open for fun! Reservations are not required.

What to Expect:
- Guided Tours: Stroll through our scenic facilities, including cabins, dining hall, waterfront areas, and recreational spaces.
- Program Overviews: Discover the range of activities—from swimming, boating, and horseback riding to arts & crafts, sports, and outdoor adventures—that make Camp Jewell unique.
- Meet Our Team: Chat our year-round staff who create a safe, supportive environment for all campers.
- Camper & Parent Q&A: Bring your questions! We’ll share information on session dates, packing lists, and everything else you need to prepare for an unforgettable summer experience.
Whether you’re new to Camp Jewell or a returning camper, tour Open Houses will help you and your family feel right at home. Come see firsthand how our traditions, values, and fun-filled programs inspire campers to develop independence, teamwork, and leadership skills—all while making lifelong friends.
