For over 110 years, Camp Jewell YMCA has been helping people develop life skills that prepare them for future success. Surrounded by 540 acres of woodlands, our camp was built as a year-round facility and hosts over 20,000 people a year in our weekday and weekend programs. What sets us apart is our ability to truly cater our programs to meet your needs, whatever the size of your group. No matter the season there is a reason to come and stay at Camp Jewell. During the winter, we utilize our snow making equipment to ensure a longer tubing season. In the spring and fall we offer ample opportunities to enjoy the miles of trails at camp and to participate in many of our recreational, educational and teambuilding programs.
Camp Jewell features two separate, full-service properties within our 540 acres. Hide-A-Way Ranch, located across the lake from Camp Jewell, is a secluded facility, perfect for smaller groups of a 100 or less. Camp Jewell, with capacity for over 500, is ideal for larger groups and events. Each property has their own dining hall, group accommodations, chapel, conference spaces and charm.
Our entire staff team is focused on ensuring that your stay at camp, no matter how long or short, leaves you with memories that last a lifetime. Our seasonal program staff has extensive trainings to provide fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities. You can choose from a wide selection of teambuilding, recreational and educational programs that are designed to meet YOUR needs; you can customize your program to include as much, or as little, programming as you need.
