2025 Camp Schedules & Pricing
Camp Jewell YMCA strives to serve all people regardless of ability to pay. Camp Jewell offers flexible pricing ‘tiers’ for overnight camp. All children have the same camp experience regardless of what their parents pay.
You can register online or by mail, fax, or phone. If you have any questions please contact our camp office at 860.909.0563 or email us at camp.jewell@ghymca.org. Please note, financial assistance is available for our programs for those families that meet the income requirements.
We have “pay what you can afford” (4-tier) pricing, and we also offer financial assistance for most families with a household annual income below $100,000!
What are tiered prices?
We recognize that families have different abilities to pay and have developed this voluntary four-tier fee structure to best meet everyone’s needs. Simply select the rate appropriate for your family’s budget. This is completely confidential and does not impact your child’s experience in any way. Financial assistance is available for a maximum of one session per summer.
TIER 1
This tier most accurately reflects the true cost of operating camp, including expenses such as food, staff salaries, supplies, equipment maintenance, facility updates, and depreciation. Please choose this option if you are able to pay the full cost.
TIER 2
Tier 2 is a partially subsidized rate for those who cannot afford to pay the full costs associated with attending camp. It helps cover some of the additional costs of attending camp such as routine facility upkeep.
TIER 3
Tier 3 at Camp Jewell provides some financial assistance to help reduce the overall cost of camp. It’s intended for those who need some support but are still able to cover a substantial portion of the expense. No application is required for this tier.
TIER 4
Tier 4 provides a substantial amount of financial assistance, reducing the costs involved. This tier is tailored for those who need financial support to attend Camp Jewell. To apply, please request an application form from Camp Jewell YMCA.
