Winter’s finally loosened its grip, the lake’s sparkling again, and that can only mean one thing — it’s time for Spring Work Weekend at Camp Jewell YMCA!
Grab your gloves, your favorite flannel, and a few friends or family members for a weekend full of camp spirit, laughter, and good old-fashioned hard work. Together, we’ll rake, paint, build, clean, and polish our way into summer — because camp magic doesn’t just happen… it’s made by amazing people like you!
Cost: Free! We’ll provide comfy cabins and hearty camp meals
Who: Families, alumni, friends, and volunteers of all ages and skill levels
Whether you’re a seasoned alum who can swing a hammer or a first-time visitor ready to rake leaves, there’s a project waiting for you. And don’t worry — we balance the work with plenty of camp fun: crackling campfires, laughter echoing across the lake, and that “I helped make this place shine” feeling.
