The Colebrook Store was Connecticut longest continuously operational store from 1812 to 2007 and reopened in the spring of 2014. Built in 1812, the Colebrook Store is a minute’s walk from Town Hall in the Colebrook town center. Originally owned by Martin and Solomon Rockwell, the store changed hands several times, thrice selling for under $1,000 in the 1800s.
