The Camp Jewell YMCA 2nd Annual Wine Tasting and Auction Event!
Saturday, October 16th, 6pm to 10pm, West Hartford Jewish Community Center
The evening features fun for all adults! Wine & beer tasting, generous appetizers, live music, silent auction and door prizes are all included. Tickets are $50 for adults age 21 and over.
Proceeds from this event support the YMCA’s Strong Kids Campaign which provides character building camping programs for youth and families, regardless of their financial ability.

Women's Wellness Weekend, September 10-12
We offer a great getaway weekend that helps you grow in spirit, mind and body. Our diverse range of activities allow for personal challenge, skill building, and relaxation. Your participation in activities is completely up to you and you set your own pace. Many women enjoy exciting activities such as horseback riding, kayaking, or climbing, while others enjoy having a massage, reading a book, or simply talking to other women.
Columbus Day Family Camp, October 8-11
Family Camp provides a great experience for everyone in your family! Parents get the benefit of their family staying in a safe, wholesome environment, surrounded by caring staff members and plenty of fun activities. Children enjoy participation in challenging activities and games, while having fun with their parents. Everyone gets to make new friends! With Camp Jewell staff hosting, organizing, and facilitating the weekend, the only thing left to worry about is what fun activity to do next!
Halloween Harvest Festival, October 23
Bring the whole family to a night of fall fun! Camp Jewell becomes a maze of trick-or-treat cabins, spooky trails, and Halloween excitement! Please bring a flashlight, warm costume, and goody bag! No reservations needed.
Woodcutter's Volunteer Weekend, November 12-14
Camp Jewell serves over 20,000 people annually on a 540 acre site that continually needs to be updated, renovated, and repaired. As a volunteer you get to join a family of Camp Jewell supporters who give their time to make camp even better!
Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner, November 14th
Celebrate the 50th birthday of camp's most beloved special event! Bring the whole family for a day of activities and great food! The fun gets started at 1pm with the following activities:
